About Me
As a kid, I looked up to my mom as she sewed our clothes. I loved the sound of fabric being cut against the table in her sewing room. I'd use the scraps to make clothes for my Barbie dolls, dreaming of having my own sewing space someday.But as a teenager, sewing wasn't considered cool. Everyone was into Adidas 3-stripe pants, and my hobby felt nerdy. So, I put away my sewing machine for years.It wasn't until much later when I struggled to find clothes that fit well and felt right, that I rediscovered my love for sewing. I remember panicking before a friend's 40th birthday party in Tuscany, unable to find anything suitable to wear. That's when I decided to make my outfit from muslin fabric. It was far from perfect, and I never wore it again, but it reignited my passion for sewing.Now, I create clothes and home accessories from old curtains, duvet covers, and tablecloths. Each piece I make tells a story of creativity and sustainability. Sewing has become more than just a hobby; it's a way for me to promote slow fashion and encourage others to appreciate every piece in their wardrobe.Join me on this journey towards a more sustainable future.
